DECOMPOSITIONS
This installation takes form in an extensive outgrowth. Apples and pomegranate apples are the sources of this outgrowth.
These are fixed together by strips of plaster, neat, they remain inevitably inert.
These fruits have been manipulated by the gesture of man's voracity. They will decay with time, decompose, rot and in a perpetual flow change appearance.
These fruits dialogue a sense of mythology, an environmental and ecological conflict. Bridging together the antipodes as an allegory of desire, immortality.
Remiding us that: Nothing is forever.
